Horizon Power Fuels Community Growth with Over $468K in Grants

Horizon Power’s Community Partnerships Program has awarded $468,888 in funding to support 57 community organisations and events throughout regional and remote Western Australia. Since 2020, this program has made a significant impact, providing vital support to regional initiatives.
More Than $468,000 to Regional WA Community Organisations
The program has awarded almost $4.5 million to more than 450 initiatives in regional WA since 2020. Recipients of the latest round include:
Country Women’s Association in Derby
Carnarvon Golf Club
Esperance Soccer Association
These organisations will receive funding to upgrade their club facilities, better serving their members.

State Government’s Commitment
The State Government, through Horizon Power, allocates $1.1 million each financial year to regional community initiatives and events. In October 2023, $542,575 was awarded to 66 regional organisations.
Ongoing Commitment to Regional Growth
Horizon Power's Community Partnerships Program supports a wide range of organisations and events in Horizon Power's service areas, including the Kimberley, Pilbara, Gascoyne, Mid West, and Goldfields and Esperance regions. This program provides grants of up to $50,000 to successful organisations and events that demonstrate clear community outcomes and have a positive impact on a large portion of the community.
