Why have I been charged a supply charge?

Your bill has two components, a fixed daily supply charge and an amount for the electricity you have used. The supply charge is the cost associated with getting electricity to your home or business – installing and maintaining the poles, wires and other infrastructure.

All customers pay a supply charge, including those who have renewable energy installed.
