What if you could improve your bottom line with some simple changes to the way you use energy?

 

Switch to a laptop - it uses up to 90% less energy than a desktop computer

Improve your bottom line with these energy saving tips

You could lower your lighting costs by up to 75%...

...by switching to LED lightbulbs. Switch off when you don’t need the lights on and look into installing lighting controls such as motion sensors and timers at your premises.

Set the air-con no lower than 21 to 24°C (depending on where you live)

If you’ve got it running all day adjusting the temperature setting up by just one degree can cut your energy use by 10%.

Appliances on stand-by mode use energy when not in use

Switch your appliances off at the wall when they're not in use, to avoid paying for standby power. Set your devices to hibernate when you’re not using them and power them down at the end of the day.

Check the energy star rating label on your appliances

If they’re a low star rating, they’re not very energy efficient and will cost you more money to run. Consider upgrading to more energy efficient equipment
