Community partnerships

Vibrant communities are the heart of our regions

We're passionate about supporting community organisations and initiatives that make a difference in regional WA.

Each year, our Community Partnerships Program invests $1.1 million into community projects and events that drive local growth, health, and wellbeing across our vast service area.

Learn more about the program, the organisations we support and how to apply.

Community groups are making a real difference in the regions.

I hit the road with Horizon Power's CEO Stephanie Unwin to meet the locals and see first-hand how their Community Partnerships Program supports regional communities.

What is the Community Partnerships Program?

Refreshed in 2020, the Community Partnerships Program provides support of up to $50,000 to organisations delivering initiatives in our service area across the Kimberley, Pilbara, Gascoyne, Mid West Goldfields and Esperance regions.

These initiatives cover a wide range of projects, from infrastructure upgrades to cultural festivals, educational programs, youth support services and much more.

Each initiative plays a part in making our communities more connected, resilient, and sustainable. In the 2023/24 financial year we awarded funding to 122 initiatives across two partnership rounds.

Who does it help?

Our program supports a diverse range of regional and remote organisations, from sporting clubs and arts initiatives to Aboriginal corporations and youth programs. View the full list of our partners here.

We support a broad range of organisations that create opportunities and promote well-being in local communities.
