$400 WA Household Electricity Credit announced for residential customers

The WA Government has announced a $400 Household Electricity Credit to help reduce cost-of-living pressures for households, as part of the 2022-23 State Budget.

As part of the 2022-23 Budget, the State Government announced a $400 Household Electricity Credit, with payments being made into Horizon Power electricity accounts from July 2022. Terms and Conditions for these Household Electricity Credit payments will be available soon.

Information on this assistance for households that receive electricity from a supplier other than Synergy or Horizon Power will be available from Revenue WA soon.

Customers experiencing difficulty in paying their electricity bills are also encouraged to seek assistance from their retailer.
