Compensation For Damage

Customers can make a claim for compensation for loss or damage if it is caused by Horizon Power's negligence. However, customers cannot claim compensation if loss or damage is due to events or circumstances outside of Horizon Power's control such as major storms, lightning strikes, high winds, vandalism, motor vehicle collisions with power poles, interference by birds/animals, bushfires and other such events.
