L2 Business Tariff

The Business L2 tariff is available to industrial, commercial and general customers where the electricity is used for business purposes and at low/medium voltage (240/415V).

The L2 tariff consists of a daily supply (fixed) charge and declining block energy charges, ie. the cost of an additional unit of electricity decreases as consumption increases.

Examples of parties eligible for the L2 tariff include:

  • Schools and churches;
  • Hospitals, therapeutic workshops and nursing homes;
  • Shops and factories;
  • Office blocks, libraries, museums and art galleries;
  • Hotels, motels and boarding houses;
  • Sporting complexes and community recreation facilities.

Electricity Charge:  
Cents per unit for first 20 units per day 17.47
Between 20 - 1650 units per day 17.47
More than 1650 units per day 15.76
