Horizon Power has been issued with an Integrated Regional Licence by the Economic Regulation Authority. Under this licence, Horizon Power can only generate, distribute and retail electricity to customers within its license areas, ie the North West Interconnected System and regional non interconnected systems.
As part of the Licence, supply areas have been created for each town and community in which Horizon Power operates. Horizon Power is only allowed to supply power to premises within these license area boundaries. Before submitting an application to connect to Horizon Power's networks, you should check the license area map (below) for your town or community to make sure your premise is located within the Licensed Area.
Unfortunately Horizon Power cannot supply power to customers outside these License Areas. Any future amendments to these license areas must be approved by the Economic Regulation Authority. If your premise is located outside the License Area, you should contact Horizon Power's District Networks Officer at your closest regional office.
