Terms and Conditions

Eligibility Criteria:

In order to be eligible for the Extended Outage Payment you must meet the following criteria:

You must be an electricity account holder at any premises in Western Australia and consume less than 50 MW hours per year
Your power was off (an outage) for 12 consecutive hours or longer
The outage was not caused by or attributable to you or your equipment under your control
The outage is not a result of an emergency action taken by an authority such as the police or fire services
You did not request the outage to occur
You have not previously been paid for the same outage at the same address
Your claim form has been received by Horizon Power within two calendar months of the outage date

A payment under this Scheme does not influence the acceptance, or rejection of any other compensation claim
