Carnarvon Power Station

Horizon Power has embarked on a project to develop a power station at a new site in Carnarvon to meet the growing electricity needs of the Carnarvon community.

Funding for the development of the Carnarvon power station has recently been approved with a budget of $70 million over five years allocated for the work.

Horizon Power is currently undertaking studies to ensure the new power station meets the long-term electricity needs of Carnarvon residents and businesses. The power station will be located away from residential areas on the outskirts of the town of Carnarvon and negotiations have begun with land owners to secure land for the power station.

Horizon Power will continue to keep the community informed about the project as it progresses.
