Horizon Power's Code of Conduct

The Horizon Power Code of Conduct was approved by the Board on 5 September 2007 and is reviewed annually.

The Horizon Power Code of Conduct sets down standards for appropriate ethical and professional behaviour for all employees, including the Board. It sets out the fundamental values which form the basis of and underpin Horizon Power’s business relationships.

A Director’s Code of Conduct is also currently being developed.  It will set down minimum standards for appropriate ethical and professional behaviour for Directors in accordance with the legal requirements of the Electricity Corporations Act 2005 and in conjunction with the Corporations Act 2001.

Economic Regulation Authority's Code of Conduct

The Economic Regulation Authority (ERA) is the independent economic regulator for Western Australia.  It regulates monopoly aspects of the gas, electricity and rail industries and licenses providers of gas, electricity and water services.

The ERA has the Code of Conduct for Supply of Electricity to Small Use Customers 2008, which Horizon Power is regulated by.

You can read the Code, and find out more about the ERA on their website.
